Existing Construction Drawings:  Can you use B and H plans to build your dream log home but buy the log materials elsewhere?  Of course we want to sell the log kit but, yes, you can do that.  Just remember, the B and H plans were prepared for our post and beam style of construction.  One family bought the drawings for our "Sandy's Joy" and constructed their "butt and pass" corner home with materials purchased elsewhere.  Family and friends finished the log and beam construction in about two weeks.  Total construction time was about fourteen months.  Click >> log home photos to view two color photos of their completed home.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any additional effort to satisfy local codes (e.g., wind loads in Florida, snow loads in Colorado, etc.) must be paid for by the purchaser.
